Gentry Alexander

Gentry was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, attended Dunbar High School, and earned a degree in Business Marketing from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He spent 12 years in banking and finance before transitioning to his current role creating and preserving affordable housing with the DC Department of Housing and Community Development. Gentry is an active member of National City Christian Church, having served in various leadership capacities, including as Treasurer from 2016 through 2018, and is a Certified Public Manager with The George Washington University. He loves Kentucky basketball, music, and reading, and lives in Washington, DC with his wife, Kathryn, and their dog, Bella.
