Henry Clay
Distinguished Kentuckian Award & Public Policy Scholarship Dinner

The Henry Clay Distinguished Kentuckian Award was created to recognize the accomplishments, both past and present, of a noted Kentuckian, whose pursuits in public service, arts and sciences, business, industry, academia, science, journalism, broadcasting, or philanthropy have received acclaim and brought honor to the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

The Biennial Henry Clay Dinner, held at the historical Willard Hotel in downtown Washington, also serves as a fundraiser for the Henry Clay Internship in Public Policy Scholarship program. Through the generous support of our sponsors, donors, and attendees, the Kentucky Society of Washington is able to provide this scholarship program to young Kentucky college and university students interested in pursuing a career in public service.
