Rebeckah Freeman Adcock

Immediate Past President

Rebeckah Freeman Adcock is the Immediate Past President of the Kentucky Society of Washington (KSW) after serving an elected term from 2019 to 2021. She has served in various capacities on the KSW Board since 2011 and has been member of the Society since moving to DC in 2002. Rebeckah is a native of the Commonwealth: her hometown is Hazard in the heart of the Appalachia and she maintains deep family roots throughout central Kentucky. For over the last twenty years, Rebeckah has been a policy advisor in a variety of roles in the private sector, on the Hill, and in the federal government. She most recently served as Senior Advisor to the United States Secretary of Agriculture. Rebeckah earned her undergraduate degree in environmental resource management from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Kentucky College of Law in Lexington. She is a member of the Leadership Kentucky Class of 2000 and a member of the state’s Bar Association. Rebeckah’s favorite ‘leadership’ role is being mother to Thomas Becker, 13, and Scarlett, 10. She lives with her family in Alexandria.
