A native of Western Kentucky, Emily is a double graduate of the University of Kentucky, with both a Bachelors and a JD. She moved to DC in 2019 after taking a job with the United States Department of Justice, where she currently serves as a trial attorney. Emily enjoys watching Kentucky sports, drinking bourbon, and doing anything outdoors with her husband, Troy, and two dogs, Jersey and Watson.
